We understand how valuable your privacy is, and therefore we don’t measure or monitor users’ actions on the GISCollective platform. We intentionally avoid using services like Google Analytics which use your data to make a profit. At the same time, in order to create relevant content, we need to get some information about how our website is used. For this purpose we use Matomo, an open source web analytics tool. It is installed on our servers, so we can make sure that your browsing activities are not recorded by a 3rd party service which might use your data for advertising.
